Fall is a time for layering, pulling out your scarves, and deep, wonderful colors. But it's also a time for comfort! I've always loved draw string, wide leg pants for their ultimate cozy-ness. Though, every time I used to put a pair on I'd feel self-conscious and think, "do I look like I'm having a daytime PJ party?" Maybe I did... (maybe I still do), but here are a couple of tips that help me feel more confident in a type of pant that I love:
1) wear heeled shoes (converse or oxfords can look cute with this type of pant, but if you're like me, heels will help you feel less like it's bedtime). I'm wearing Rag & Bone booties.
2) Go for a form fitting top (or, if you feel comfortable with something a little looser, make it structured... perhaps something with a collar).
3) Tuck it in (that top, I mean...)
This is a fantastic, fall pair by Michael Kors, which I found on the sale rack at Marshalls for $10. Can you believe it???!!! I'll be wearing them all Fall long. Check out similar styles below.
